PASTOR
REVEREND WALTER HARLEY

Rev. Walter Harley is an anointed man of GOD guided by the Biblical principles and the Holy Spirit of our Lord GOD to preach the word in season and out of season. In 1979, he was united in holy matrimony to Miss Elaine Mack and to this union, two children were born: Asa Wallandis Harley and Walter Allyn Harley (deceased). They will celebrate 43 wonderful years of marriage in December 21, 2022.
Pastor Harley received his Bachelor of Art degree from Claflin University, Orangeburg, S. C. He has taken courses at Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, GA.; Duke University in N.C. and United Methodist Church (UMC) Course of Study ( COS)/Adv COS.
Pastor Harley received appointments to the following districts: 2007-2012 Orangeburg Central UMC/Rowesville, SC; 2012 - 2022 Orangeburg Canaan UMC/Cope, SC and July 3, 2022 Bethel - Red Bank Charge/Walterboro District. We thank GOD for sending us another Pastor filled with GOD’s anointing guidance and strong leadership. Hallelujah!
As Pastor of the Bethel - Red Bank Charge, Pastor Harley is Enhancing the Spiritual Growth and Enrichment of the Members:

He preaches the Word of GOD, leads in worship, reads and teaches the scriptures, and engages the people to study and witness.

Serves as Senior Pastor of two congregations offering spiritual guidance, enrichment, biblical instruction, and religious ceremony.

Oversees several ministerial groups within the churches to aid in the development of parishioners.

Serves as the Financial Analyst and Building fund and Development Strategist.

Provides mentorship to men and women group Leaders.

Assists in the development of associate ministers and laity.

Leads people in discipleship and evangelistic outreach so that others might come to know Christ and to follow Him.

Explains the meaning of the Lord’s Supper and encourages regular participation as a means of grace to grow in faith and holiness.
